We need YOU!
Over the years, the artisans of the Huntington River Valley have exhibited their work, demonstrated their craft, and shared their wares. More than 500 people each year have come to the festival to appreciate the farmers, musicians, painters, potters, fiber artists, carpenters, blacksmiths, stonemasons, glassblowers, papermakers, printers, bakers, photographers, and a myriad of other artisans. These arts sustain us all and Huntington Valley Arts works to sustain the arts in turn. Huntington Valley Arts presents the festival as a fundraiser to nurture the arts community through after-school workshops, grants to help people create, and support of other local venues for the arts.
This year, the Living Arts Festival offers you the opportunity to share your vision of how your work serves to sustain our community and inspire others, in light of our changing world. Please consider sharing your creative process with the public. We suggest a demonstration or visual aids such as pictures of the process, tools you use, and works in progress.
